Have you ever ask yourself the question what is the real difference between these 2 types of real estate agents??? Interdependent and Independent?
Well lets ponder this for a moment and then lets take this opportunity to ask ourselves a simple question... Which one of these are you?
It is my opinion that a true independent real estate agent is someone that stands on their own, holds them selves accountable of their daily, weekly, monthly and yearly activities, and at the end of the day takes full responsibility of educating themselves to best serve the consumers at large. This type of person is motivated to help others and run a successful business regardless of adversities. They seek out mentors and coaches to better their careers. Independent agents are individuals that are self driven to stretch themselves when no one is looking. The real character of a independent real estate agent is simple... Its someone that gets up everyday and sets serious goals, they achieve these goals, and they conquer any challenges that arise. They stay FOCUS and for that they achieve the victory.
Interdependent real estate agents have a slight difference in their daily walk. These folks are driven with the assistance and help of others. They seek out a model that keeps them on track. These folks strive to do well. Interdependent agents are structured in that they have to surround themselves with others and measure their activities based on their colleagues. They need to be in an office environment and enjoy having their hand held through out the real estate process.
Now be certain that you hear me clear... Both of these groups of real estate agents are good people at heart and want to exceed at the highest level. Regardless which group you fit in, one is not any better than the other. It is what it is! We can live with that factor.
I fell both groups are definitely qualified to assist consumers with their needs and help them find their dreams of homeownership. There is no doubt that both can be successful in their endeavors.
The reason I posted this blog is real simple... SCR is looking to hire true independent real estate contractors. I want agents to think about their business and where they stack up. If you meet this group and you are a true independent real estate contractor, I want you!
If you meet the interdependent group there are models out there to best suite your needs too. I will be happy to direct you to those companies that will be the right fit for you.
